I AM raising up Eliakim!

The Lord first gave me this word on 28.01.21

I haven’t posted it before, and I have felt an urgency to do so over the last few days.

The Lord spoke to me from Isaiah 22:15-24

This is what the Lord, the Lord Almighty, says: “Go, say to this steward, to Shebna the palace administrator: What are you doing here and who gave you permission to cut out a grave for yourself here, hewing your grave on the height and chiselling your resting place in the rock? “Beware, the Lord is about to take firm hold of you and hurl you away, you mighty man. He will roll you up tightly like a ball and throw you into a large country.There you will die and there the chariots you were so proud of will become a disgrace to your master’s house. I will depose you from your office, and you will be ousted from your position. “In that day I will summon my servant, Eliakim son of Hilkiah. I will clothe him with your robe and fasten your sash around him and hand your authority over to him. He will be a father to those who live in Jerusalem and to the people of Judah. I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. I will drive him like a peg into a firm place; he will become a seat of honour for the house of his father. All the glory of his family will hang on him: its offspring and offshoots—all its lesser vessels, from the bowls to all the jars.

It was unusual for Isaiah to prophecy over individuals, but here he makes an exception and addresses two men: Shebna and Eliakim.

Shebna is the palace administrator for Hezekiah (who was a good king). He is a man in authority, but Isaiah saw into his heart and was swift to pronounce judgement. We don’t know exactly why Shebna was judged but there are clues in the text as to his character.

His name means growth or vigour and he is referred to as a mighty man / a strong man. The Hebrew definition actually means to conduct oneself arrogantly, to prevail, to strengthen and become stronger, to be mighty. We also see that Shebna was building a tomb, a sepulchre for himself on the heights. This was a statement of greatness. Only the wealthy could afford to cut large family tombs into rock; tombs that would stand as a testimony to the importance of the occupants for years maybe centuries. Shebna was full of his own largesse and was building for his own posterity.

The Lord began to unpack this to me that Shebna represented a type of the church…

actually the false church / the harlot bride marked by pharisaic thinking and a pharisee spirit:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness. Matthew 23:27

The bible tells us this about Pharisees:

• They clean the outside of the cup and dish but inside are full of greed and self-indulgence

• They demand an outward display of religion over authentic heart change

• They make an outward display of religion but neglect justice, mercy & faithfulness

• They are experts in law (legalism)

• They shut the door of the Kingdom of heaven in people’s faces

• They love money

• They are hypocrites

• They try to trap with words

• They look beautiful on the outside

Lord have mercy on us, your church, where we have become blind fools! For where we have become so enamoured with your goodness but we have totally forgotten your severity; for where we have thought ourselves covered by your grace as we have continued our pursuit of sin.

Lord have mercy for where we have built on the glorious foundation of Jesus Christ with wood, hay and straw: for where we have wrongly used business principles and philosophical ideologies, teaching motivational techniques rooted in humanism so that we can all ‘live our best life’.

Lord have mercy for where we have become drunk on power and built for our own posterity; for where we thought ourselves cutting edge, cool, relevant but where instead we have watered down your gospel, stifled the move of your Spirit and sold out to the culture around us. Have mercy for where we have made money our god and been more concerned with crowds and cash than with the souls of men.

Lord have mercy for where we have celebrated human strength and giftedness above anointing, worshipping the twin gods of performance and perfectionism.

Lord have mercy for where we have shut the doorway of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces, for where we have controlled them and limited them because of our own limitations and refusal to deal with our own broken, orphan hearts.

Lord have mercy where we have clothed ourselves in hypocrisy and deceit, for where we have pretended to be one thing, but inside we have been quite another.

Lord have mercy for where we become worship thieves, stealing glory from you and taking it for ourselves. Your glory you will not share with another! Isaiah 42:8

Forgive us Lord for we have thought ourselves alive, but inside we have been dead; building for ourselves a tomb on the heights.

We have already begun to see judgement come to the house of God, where the word tells us it will begin. We have seen mega churches crumble and leaders under judgement rolled up tightly like balls and hurled into a far country.

N.B. Let me be clear, I do not write this with glee! I know enough about my own heart to know that there but for the grace of God go I… We must know the Lord loves His church!!! And when one part of the body hurts and comes under judgement we should ALL be sobered, we should all get on our knees and humble ourselves and we should lift up those who are in a season of judgement and discipline, that they will encounter His mercy and that they will meet with the fear of the Lord in the place of humility.

Lord in your wrath remember mercy. Habbakuk 3:2

But we must know that we have only just begun to see the hand of the Lord move in judgement. The deep and hidden things are being exposed. He is jealous for His people and for His church, for He will have a pure bride. 2 Corinthians 11:2

The Lord will no longer tolerate the Sunday club church that has been built by human endeavour and human strength and human giftedness. He will no longer tolerate churches that have grown fat and wealthy and large on watered down weak teaching rooted in humanism and philosophy; churches that exist to bolster the flesh and cheapen grace and teach falsehood.

The government of the Lord is shifting from Shebna to Eliakim!

I heard a church leader once judge someone who was about to start leading a church as not the right type of person to lead a church.

I need to tell you that in this day we will see many raised up who are ‘not the right type of person’; we will see may who are weak and foolish take up leadership positions, because the Lord is looking on the heart! He is raising up His Eliakims. Eliakim literally means GOD RAISES UP! God can choose to raise up whomever He wants. He raised up Moses, who couldn’t speak, He raised up Gideon who was hiding in a wine press, He raised up Joseph from his humiliating years in prison, He raised up David from the sheep pen, He raised up Hannah from barrenness… and so the list goes on.

The Lord knows those who are His Eliakims. His eye has been on them always. He has tended to them in the desert and in the wilderness, He has fed them by the Brook Cherith; He has kept them hidden in caves. He has prepared them in the contrary place for such a time as this. And He is raising them up!

He is restoring the tabernacle of David and He is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. He is looking for those who are not strong in their own appraising, but rather for those who know they have been chosen because God chooses the things that are nothing, to bring to nothing the things that are: 1 Corinthians 1:28. These ones know that the government does not rest on their own shoulders but on HIS! It’s on these shoulders that God places the key of David and gives them His authority, that we might move in His strength, in His wisdom and in His power!

I see the Eliakims coming forth… a multitude, an ARMY of those ‘whom God is raising up!

The Spirit of the Lord is calling forth the Eliakims:

To all those who are burning with the zeal of the lord but who have appraised themselves as having nothing of value, to all those who long to see King Jesus enthroned in His church but who have been unseen and hidden, to all those who contend in the secret place but who think themselves unqualified, the Lord is calling you! He is raising you up and He is putting a key on your shoulder.

And I see Jesus as Lord Tsabaoth, our Warrior King, our Lord Almighty, walking along the lines of troops in this emerging army and He is putting a key on each one’s shoulder. The keys are all different, some are weighty and heavy; they look like they would open castle doors; some are small and intricate, they look like they would open diaries or jewellery boxes. These are heavenly keys that unlock the mysteries of heaven. Every single one is different and the key given to one cannot be used by another.

Beloved know that in this day the Lord is placing the key of David on YOUR shoulder.

Your key will unlock YOUR revelation of Jesus Christ in the earth; the portion YOU carry.. no one else carries and can release what you carry. Only YOU! The keys to unlock glorious mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven are being set on shoulders right now. The Eliakims are being raised up and positioned in this day. Will you say yes? Will you receive the key that unlocks your governmental portion in the earth, that unlocks the provision and the glory and the mysteries of heaven given to YOU so that the church can be built up, so that the Ekklesia can step into her governmental authority, and so that the bride can be made ready?

It is time Eliakims. It is time to arise! Now is the day. Amen.
