It Is Time to Come Out of Religion and Into the Resonance of Heaven

A couple of years ago I read a book called Quantum Glory by Phil Mason- a brilliant book, unpacking the relationship between the spirit realm and physics.

I understood about 10% of this book, but the bits I did understand were profound!

This quote, in particular leapt out!

There was never meant to be a disconnect between heaven and earth. The words that human beings were intended to speak on earth were the words that reflected the language of heaven. The language of Eden before the fall was the language of heaven. Phil Mason, Quantum Glory

And I know, in this season the Lord is calling His people back to that place. He is calling us out of religion and into Him - out of performance and into love - out of striving and into rest - out of the false self and into the glorious freedom of becoming who Jesus says we are.

In 2019, I had a prophetic dream of a huge tsunami wave. It was grey, cold, frightening, and violent. I knew I would not survive the impact of the wave. But as I looked up at this wave, something rose up in me and a declaration came out of my spirit:

“I will live and not die.”

As I spoke those words, I became aware of a deep surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ. And as I surrendered, I was lifted up onto the top of the wave. I was lying in the shape of a cross, carried forward by the very thing that had looked as though it would destroy me.

And I knew this:

Firstly that the dream was for the church

Secondly, that the wave I had seen was a tsunami wave of chaos that was about to be unleashed on the earth and that it would keep coming and coming.

Thirdly, I knew that what the enemy was sending to destroy the Lord’s people would become the very agent of propulsion into destiny.

Some of you may feel as though you are in that place now. Everything feels chaotic. You do not know which way is up. You may feel as though everything is falling apart. But if you will surrender to Jesus in that place, and allow His declaration to rise up in you that you WILL LIVE AND NOT DIE, He will lift you up. What the enemy is using to attempt to destroy you will become the very thing He uses to move you into freedom, glory and destiny in Him. This is the wisdom of the cross!

Then, in 2020, the world was suddenly swept into a wave of confusion, fear, violence, opinion and hatred. The airwaves were full of accusation and anger. It felt as though the whole earth was being baptised into chaos.

As I processed the dream with the Lord He dropped a name into my spirit:

Leviathan.

I knew next to nothing about this creature at the time, so it was an invitation to study!

Leviathan is described at length in Job 41 - it is known by bible scholars as a chaos monster that lives in the realm of the sea. Biblically the sea represents chaos, disorder and tumult. Leviathan’s nature is to release chaos and to undo the divine order of God.

However it cannot do this on its own! Leviathan has no authority of its own!

Jesus stripped the powers of darkness of their authority and ALL authority now belongs to Him.

So where from where does Leviathan get the authority and ability to wreak such havoc? Much is documented about this demonic being in Job 41 - in particular much about its speech:

Can you tie down its tongue with a rope? Will is speak to you with gentle words? Who dares open the jaws of its mouth? Flames stream; sparks of fire shoot out. Smoke pours from its nostrils as from a boiling pot over burning reeds. Its breath sets coals ablaze and flames dart from its mouth. Job 41:1,3,14,19-21

Compare these words in the book of James -

Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of ones life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. James 3:13-16

WORDS are the vehicle that releases chaos. What sort of words? Words that come from a spirit of pride!

Job 41:34 tells us - Leviathan is “king over all the children of pride.”

Every time we speak out of pride — through gossip, judgement, accusation, hatred or offence or we become agents of chaos and we give Leviathan authority to use our words to landscape hell in the earth.

When I first had this dream about the chaos wave I had found it a bit discombobulating because I had been hearing many prophetic voices speak about a coming wave of glory. But the wave I saw in my dream most definitely did not feel like glory. It felt like the absolute opposite!

So, prompted by the Holy Spirit, I began to ask the Lord with great sincerity -

“Lord, what is this wave of glory that you are sending?”

A few weeks later, I read these words in Ezekiel:

“The voice of God is the sound of many waters.”

Revelation exploded in my spirit and I knew that THIS is the wave of glory - it’s the voice of God in the earth - it’s the sound of many waters - it’s the rivers of living water flowing from within us - it’s the Spirit and the Bride in perfect unity saying:

“Come.” And let the one who hears say, 'Come.' And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who wishes receive the water of life without cost. Revelation 22:17

A people so surrendered, so aligned, so filled with the Spirit, that the sound coming from them is not mixture, not pride or religion, but the pure resonance of heaven in perfect agreement with the Son.

Last week I learned about cymatics (apparently a subset of modal vibrational phenomena!)

First documented by Robert Hooke in the 1680s when he conducted an experiment with flour on a glass plate. When a violin bow was drawn along the edge of the plate, the vibration caused the unformed pile of flour to move into beautiful, ordered patterns.

A pile of scattered flour came into beautiful ordered patterns because of sound frequency and resonance.

Sound has the ability to create order! Specifically to create order out of disorder!

Now if a violin bow can do that on a glass plate, what can a surrendered human voice do in the earth?

When we speak with the resonance of heaven, we become agents of order. We become those who partner with God to bring beauty where there has been chaos. This is what God did in Genesis. The Spirit hovered over all that was formless and void, and then God spoke and what was chaotic came into order - what was empty became full and what was dark was filled with light.

And WE are called to co-create with God. To speak His words - to release the sound and the resonance of Heaven into the earth. To bring what is disordered into order.

What is the resonance of heaven? 1 Corinthians 13 tells us: It is love! Not sentimental love. Not permissive love that ushers people into destruction. But the pure love of God.

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 1 Corinthians 13:1-7

LOVE is the resonance and the atmosphere of heaven.

The resonance of heaven is not striving or religious performance. It is not trying to become a shinier, more acceptable version of ourselves. Religion diminishes - it says “You are almost acceptable, but not quite.”

Religion tells you to conform, to shrink, to apologise for who you are, to become a false version of yourself in order to belong.

But heaven does the opposite. Heaven gives glorious permission to become fully alive in Christ. Fully loved, fully known and fully yourself as the Father created you to be.

God is dismantling religion in His church. He is dismantling it in me and in you. He is raising up a Bride who knows how to rest in His love, live from Eden, and speak with the resonance of heaven.

The Sound of Shalom

The sound of heaven is the sound of shalom.

Shalom means peace, but it is far more than peace. It speaks of wholeness, completeness, restoration and divine order.

The 4 Hebrew letters of shalom literally mean: Destroys the authority that binds to chaos.

This is what the resonance of heaven does. It destroys the authority that binds people, places and situations to chaos, death and the destructive forces of religion.

James asks how blessing and cursing can come from the same mouth. How can fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? (Note salt water!!! The sea!)

God is calling us to become a people without mixture.

A people who speak what He speaks and a people who release rivers of living water from their inmost being - a multitude of people who are becoming the voice of God in the earth and who are becoming the Ezekiel river of God that flows into the dead sea and makes everything LIVE.

This is what God is doing in this hour.

He is dismantling religion.

He is purifying His Bride.

He is calling us out of chaos and into shalom.

He is bringing us back to Eden — back to the place of love, rest, order, beauty, intimacy and divine resonance.

And from that place, the river will flow. The voice of the Bride will rise. And a thirsty groaning earth will hear the sound of many waters.
